One Chick Travels - Dani Reyes-Acosta

Vans name: El Torito Blanco
Type of Van: I drive a 1995 Ford e250 with RWD and Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires, which takes me basically everywhere I need to go in the winter.
Occupation: I am a brand (marketing) consultant, digital strategist, teacher, writer, and backcountry athlete.
Reason for travel: I want to find the limits of my possible—in the mountains, my creative work, and my professional life—and travel makes this possible through continued growth and learning.
Time living in the van: I've been living in this van since November 2018, but have lived in other forms of alternative housing (short-term rentals, a partner's van, a truck, and a Subaru) since September 2014.
Favorite Destinations: I love Lake Tahoe for its snow, southern Mexico for its surf and culture, and all of Colorado for its diverse landscapes.
Word of advice: Just because something feels tough doesn't mean you should give up: feeling the challenge means that you're doing the right thing, and that it'll only get better. Persist.
